Thank you for your service May 22, 2018 by Tauhid Rahman of DNV GL - Det Norske Veritas (Australia ) Pty Ltd.
Recently, we bought an intrinsically safe camera and received very prompt and good service from Helen, which is very much appreciated.
Love it! March 19, 2018 by J
Just wanted to drop a note to CorDEX to tell you how happy I am with my new camera. I couldn’t have asked for more and the fact it’s intrinsically safe is incredible. Thanks team!
100% March 15, 2018 by Graham T.
We needed a camera like this for a long time, the Trident is great but we were missing the thermal feature. This camera has that and loads more. We don’t regret our decision to upgrade at all, we’ve actually ordered 3 more recently! Cheers to the CroDEX team for your assistance when we were looking to purchase.
Digitherm is a winner March 13, 2018 by Edward Harris
Great camera for all. At first wasn’t sure how to use the ATB setting but after completing the training module on the website I quickly got to grips with it, along with all of the other things you can do! The thermal feature is especially good since I don’t have a thermal camera already. This offers everything I need in one package! Brilliant stuff.
Nifty piece of kit March 7, 2018 by Richard
Thank you thank you thank you! Love this camera it does everything we need it to. We’ve already put in another order for the non-intrinsically safe version!
Fantastic upgrade January 11, 2018 by Bill Kilmoor
This is a top notch upgrade to the Trident. It’s lighter and has loads more included, as well as thermal imaging which is a very welcomed addition.
If you’re hesitating to buy one – don’t ! This is a great bit of kit and we will get so much use out of it.

FAQs
What areas can I enter with an intrinsically safe instrument?
Hazardous areas must be defined by the employer into designated zones and instruments must be certified for those zones. The type of hazardous atmosphere (gas, dust, mining) must be specified and the auto ignition temperature of that zone must be identified with instruments selected that are rated safe for thier temperature.
What does Intrinsically Safe Mean?
An intrinsically safe instrument has been designed from the ground up to use low voltage and current together with detailed electronic and mechanical design to elimate any possibility of generating an ignotino source in a hazardous (explosive) area. The instrument must be approved by a notified body to international standards such as ATEX and IECEx. The IEC standard that TC7000 compiles with is IEC EN 60079 -11.
What else does IECEx Certification Offer?
An instrument complying with ATEX/IECEx will have been rigorously tested not only to ensure it will not generate a spark but also that it is robust enough to maintain that integrity when impacted or subjected to extremes of temperature. An ATEX/IECEx certified instrument will of necessity be much tougher than an equivalent safe area product even if for example the IP rating is similar.
